I need book suggestions for soon-to-be-released great/great-sounding books (or hey, if anyone'd like to see me snark, bad/bad-sounding books) or currently-released books of the same aforementioned criteria. If you can think of anything, comment below.

So far on my list are:

Getting The Girl by Susan Juby
Chains by Laurie Halse Anderson

I don't know if you've read any of these, but I loved Jellicoe Road, Opposite of Invisible, Ten Cents A Dance, Sister Wife.

Hmm. I'd suggest any Ellen Hopkins book (just take your pick- they're all really good), Skinned by Robin Wasserman, Another Kind of Cowboy by Susan Juby, Prom Dates from Hell and Hell Week by Rosemary Clement-Moore (very sarcastic- I think you'll love these books).

That's all I can think of right now, aside from the ones that Alea mentioned.

LOL what did I suggest?

Oh wait I have one. (Insert title of book I've never heard of but everyone else probably knows of here) I bet that will be a good one. Nah- I'm just poking fun at myself usually knowing nothing that is coming out until after the fact! I think you should go for some Deb C though :)

Hmm... I can't think of any that I've read that you haven't. But, I'm gonna suggest Seven Tears into the Sea, even though it was released a few years ago. It's one of my favorites.

Ooh, do Wuthering High by Cara Lockwood or Elsewhere by Gabrielle Zevin, I thought those were kind of lame -- I can send them to you if you want.

Now.. good ones? Marian Keyes. Seriously. Watermelon or Rachel's Holiday are incredibly funny and sarcastic. I loved them.

I thought I told you to get The Luxe series! Add it to the list. You know you want it.

Have you read The Looking Glass Wars yet? Or the sequel Seeing Redd? I thought that those were really good! The author is Frank Beddor.

Alea- GAH!! I misread Khy as Alea somehow. It was REALLY late and I'd been working in front of a computer screen for 8 hours straight.

Niins- GAH!! HOW DARE YOU BESMIRCH (isn't that such a cool word?) THE BARD ACADEMY SERIES!!! I LOVE that series- it's so clever and awesome. How can you not like it?!

Alexa- lol, GREAT suggestion!! How did you come across that title? ;)

LOL! Book Chic you should see me at the end of the work day. I can't spell words at all and I'm half awake! :P

More suggestions: Far From You by Lisa Schroeder and The Secret Story of Sonia Rodriguez by Alan Lawrence Sitomer (I THINK.)

Hey! For some reason, this embedded comment form makes most people click twice before the comment is processed and published. It's not you - it's just that it's a new Blogger feature with kinks and all that. (But I adore it and don't wanna get rid of it!) I removed Captcha to make the process easier.
