No response. It's a waiting game now, which in my opinion means it's failed already.

This feels kind of painful.

Here's hoping for a happy ending, the kind they have in story books learn to know better.

Meh--it'll teach her an important lesson. One we all eventually have to learn. Embarrassment/heartbreak is usually the best way to really drive something home.
