All These Questions...

It seems like a lot of people have questions about me living abroad, what my prep school is like, and life in general outside the US. Aside from the comments on yesterday's post, I've gotten a few emails and the likes, which is very cool. So I thought I'd keep an open forum for this - if you have any questions about, um, me, etc, feel free to ask anonymously or otherwise.

(Book Chic totally does something similar. Hats off to him, too!)

(And NO, Taren, you may not ask about my brother. :P)

And you don't believe me when I say you're a mini-celebrity in the YA reviewing world! Ha!

May I ask about your brother?

Oh come on!

Okay, well, heck. In keeping with the last Anon questions in the previous post, do you consider yourself "American" from spending years of your life in TX or did you/have you always identified yourself as part of the country where you live presently? Or, does it even matter?

(A good friend of mine at work spent her teen years in Germany as an army brat. Once she got home, she found she preferred being an "American in Germany" rather than an "American in America."

Also, concerning your ideal job being a book editor... editors can be sort of mean and stressed, and flee the industry before age thirty to keep their sanity. I picture you much more as a book reviewer for Booklist, or Voya, or creating your own book review system and company which will forever obliterate other, less competent book review services. Just my two sense. :)

whoops, that was "cents!" not sense.

Okay, I'll be serious...do you see yourself coming back to the US for college and then working in New York when you are older, or staying abroad?

Raises hand- If you move to New York can I visit? :D

Does your brother know that all this talk about him occurs?

Ooh, I like the idea of you starting your own review system. You could hire me then! Haha, reading books and getting paid? Now that's a review job I could keep up with.

Candy or granola bar?

Being a doctor or editor?

What part of Houston were you from? I was raised in Katy, used to live part-time in Sugar Land, now live part-time in the Galleria area.

Going along with a few others, hire me too. :) You know how much I need a job, lol.

And also going along with some others, can I ask about your brother? Is he cute? ^_^

Thanks for the mention! :)

I can't think of any real questions right now, but when I do, I shall let you know.

Hey! For some reason, this embedded comment form makes most people click twice before the comment is processed and published. It's not you - it's just that it's a new Blogger feature with kinks and all that. (But I adore it and don't wanna get rid of it!) I removed Captcha to make the process easier. You don't have to rewrite the comments twice; just click on SUBMIT twice and it should work. If not, email me. Thanks! -Steph
