Whatcha Excited To Get Reading?

I was inspired to do this post after longingly staring at some of the books on my TBR pile. I'm reading a GREAT book right now: On the Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta (!!!), but still. You can't help but get excited when you have other seemingly-amazing books waiting ya.

Here's a list of some titles I'm hoping are gonna be greaaaaaaat in no particular order:

Madapple by Christina Meldrum

Sorority 101: Zeta or Omega? by Kate Harmon

Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta

Ten Cents a Dance by Christine Fletcher

Split By a Kiss by Luisa Plaja

Lock & Key by Sarah Dessen

Wake by Lisa McMann

And ohhhhhhhh, so many more. I'm having great luck on books lately! I hope it keeps up =)

What about you? What books on your pile are you just dying to get to?

I've already read Saving Francesca and Lock & Key from your list (two very amazing authors, might I add.); Some of my TBR books are All We Know Of Heaven (Mitchard), Beastly (Flinn) and Tangerine (Bloor.)

Wake and Lock and Key are great- loved them both. Split by a Kiss is in my TBR pile too.

I'm really excited to get to In Your Room by Jordana Fraiberg, Getting the Girl by Susan Juby, Invisible Touch by Kelly Parra, Sucks to be Me by Kimberly Pauley, Alive and Well in Prague New York by Daphne Grab, and though I don't have it yet, I'm looking forward to Violet in Private by Melissa Walker.

I have this list of e-books that I've been planning to buy, but they just stay there, while I find other books I want to read. It's real strange. Then, I have all of these other (can be held) books which I should be reading, but push aside. Argh. I really need to get my reading piles sorted.

Good luck with all your reading! Hope we can see more posts soon!

The Bewitching Season, La Petite Four, and The Possibilities of Sainthood. Plus, I'm embarrassed to admit, I haven't read any of the Stephanie Meyer books yet. I know. Sue me. :)

Suite Scarlett
Airhead
Violet on the Runway
Have I Got A Guy For You

er let's just say ALOT!

When I get about 3/4th of the way through a book I'm ready to just finish it up as soon as possible just because I see on the horizon the next book I'm going to read!

I'm bad XD

I keep bumping up the books that I really want to read to the top of my TBR pile for the site... so there are a few that seem to be there forever.

But right now, I'm trying to fight the urge to kick up How to be Bad to the top of the pile.

New cool things on my site :] Check it out!

You'll love Wake and Ten Cents a Dance. I'll be posting my review for Ten Cents early next week. :D

I'm looking forward to Looking for Alaska, Suite Scarlett, Lock and Key, and Perfect You.

I'm also really looking forward the new Georgia Nicolson book and the third QoB book from Meg Cabot. I don't have those yet, though, but I'm still really looking forward to them. :P

Yikes. *trembles*

I've got so many books I'm looking forward to. How to be Bad by E. Lockhart, Sarah Mylowski and Lauren Myracle has got to be top of my list at the moment - it's on its way to me and I can't wait! Plus I have a new Kate Le Vann book to read, Airhead by Meg Cabot soon, and... I can't remember, but some great books.

I love this site! It makes me very happy.

Anon - Yessssss, a review of On The Jellicoe Road WILL be up soon! In July, actually. Along with Author Week: Melina Marchetta. Love Melina. Love love love her. <333

Everyone sounds like they have such great stuff on their list! I'm so jealous of some items y'all have, like All We Know of Heaven. Really, REALLY wanna read it, lol.

Luisa -- thank you! :D I honestly can't wait to get started on your book. ;)

Melina Marchetta's novels are excellent.

Recent raves: Looks by Madeleine George and A Kiss Before the Apocalypse by Tom Sniegoski, both out now, and Poison Ink by Christopher Golden, which comes out in July!
